Join us Tuesday, April 1st for our first 2025 User Group Session:  Annual Physics Testing with the CaliberMRI Mini Hybrid Phantom”

Guest Speaker: Norman P. Sipp, MS DABR, Chief Diagnostic Medical Physicist: Ascension Seton Network-Austin, TX

With 13 hospitals and two children’s hospitals, 14 MRI units and 2 mobile units, Medical Physicist Norman Sipp is responsible for the Ascension Seton Network – Austin, Texas scanners. Work covers various OEMs, models, and field strengths.  Medical Physicist Sipp’s career has focused on MR Safety, ACR Accreditation, and “routine” physics testing.  Over the past several years, he has seen an increase in clinical questions regarding MRI and protocols.  In looking for a phantom to help quantify clinical aspects of MRI, Mr. Sipp began working with CaliberMRI’s Mini Hybrid (Model 137) and CaliberMRI’s qCal-MR QA/QC software.

This talk will focus on the practical aspects of using the Mini Hybrid and qCal-MR to support various scanners, field strengths, and annual physics testing for The Joint Commission.

Format (all Mountain Time, USA):

9:00-9:05 – Introductions

9:05-9:30 – Featured Speaker

9:30-9:55 – User Group Discussion

Please email info@qmri.com to sign up for the session and for login details. As always, please feel free to send questions along ahead of time.

We look forward to seeing you then!

Best regards,

The CaliberMRI team
